In this interaction between Jesus and the Samaritan woman, we see that Jesus brings 1) universally-needed grace, 2) outward reaching compassion, and 3) abundant satisfaction. We are all, like this woman, spiritually thirsty, and we all look to the wrong things – idols – to satisfies us; but Jesus is the living water – who abundantly satisfies our spiritual thirst.
