God’s Wisdom for Tomorrow

God’s Wisdom for Tomorrow

21:5 The plans of the diligent lead to profit
    as surely as haste leads to poverty.

21:29 The wicked put up a bold front,
 but the upright give thought to their ways.

24:27 Put your outdoor work in order
    and get your fields ready;
    after that, build your house.

31:27 She watches over the affairs of her household
    and does not eat the bread of idleness.

11:14 For lack of guidance a nation falls,
    but victory is won through many advisers.

15:22 Plans fail for lack of counsel,
    but with many advisers they succeed.

20:18 Plans are established by seeking advice;
    so if you wage war, obtain guidance.

24:6 Surely you need guidance to wage war,
    and victory is won through many advisers.

12:5 The plans of the righteous are just,
    but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.

12:20 Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil,
    but those who promote peace have joy.

20:24 A person’s steps are directed by the Lord.
    How then can anyone understand their own way?

27:1 Do not boast about tomorrow,
    for you do not know what a day may bring.

31:25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
    she can laugh at the days to come.

16:1 To humans belong the plans of the heart,
    but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue.

16:3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
    and he will establish your plans.

16:4 The Lord works out everything to its proper end—
    even the wicked for a day of disaster.

16:9 In their hearts humans plan their course,
    but the Lord establishes their steps.

16:33 The lot is cast into the lap,
    but its every decision is from the Lord.

19:21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
    but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

21:1 In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water
that he channels toward all who please him.

21:30 There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan
 that can succeed against the LORD.

21:31 “The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
 but victory rests with the Lord.”

14:12 There is a way that appears to be right,
    but in the end it leads to death.

14:22 Do not those who plot evil go astray?
    But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness.

16:2 All a person’s ways seem pure to them,
    but motives are weighed by the Lord.

21:2 A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart.

29:18 Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint;
    but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.
