15:17 Better a small serving of vegetables with love
    than a fattened calf with hatred.

17:1 Better a dry crust with peace and quiet
    than a house full of feasting, with strife.

16 There are six things the Lord hates, 
seven that are detestable to him…
19 …a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

14:17 A quick-tempered person does foolish things,
    and the one who devises evil schemes is hated.

14:29 Whoever is patient has great understanding,
but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.

14:16 The wise fear the Lord and shun evil,
